Gather on the grass at the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater, bring your blanket or beach chair, and purchase snacks and drinks right on site. Each concert offers something new, perfect if you’re going to be in town for a while! Concerts are typically held on Friday nights from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., and best of all, every Myrtle Beach music concert is free!

Bike Week

Myrtle Beach finds itself full of motorcycle enthusiasts during its annual Myrtle Beach Bike Week. In 2021, the festival will be held from May 7th through 16th. Sun Fun Festival

The Sun Fun Festival is typically held during the last weekend in May (in 2021, that’s May 29-31) and is a wonderful Myrtle Beach tradition. It was an annual event for over 50 years but had to be put on hiatus in 2011, but now, the Sun Fun Festival is back and better than ever! Various events can be attended for free and include a parade, dance competitions, family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and an exciting fireworks show!

Corvette at the Beach Car Show

Each year in June, Myrtle Beach hosts the annual Corvettes at the Beach Car Show. 2021 will mark the 26th annual event that invites visitors and locals alike to come out to the beach and witness all kinds of new and classic cars. In addition to checking out all the awesome cars, you can dance to the music of DJ, grab some interesting items for sale from the Corvette Museum, participate in the live auction, or try to win some great door prizes!

Carolina Country Music Fest

Happening from June 10th through 13th, 2021, the Carolina Country Music Fest promises 3 days of exciting country music and fun for the whole family. Guests will get to hear from some up-and-coming acts as well as famous names in the country music scene, all with the beautiful backdrop of Myrtle Beach. Visitors will immediately understand why Carolina Country Music Fest is considered the Southeast’s best outdoor country music festival!

Hot Summer Nights

Taking place on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk from June 12th to September 4th, the Hot Summer Nights Festival is a great way to stay entertained all summer long. There’s something new going on each week, but typical entertainment includes free concerts, street entertainment, family-friendly activities and games, and even a weekly carnival! Festivities usually occur from around 8 until 11 p.m., making this event the perfect way to spend an evening with the ones you love most.

Myrtle Beach Nationals Car, Truck, and Bike Show

Happening from June 12th thru 14th, the Myrtle Beach Nationals Car, Truck, and Bike Show is an exciting three-day event that the whole family is sure to love. This event allows visitors to see tons of unique cars, participate in tailgate parties and truck games, dance the evening away with a live DJ, or get into the action of the burnout competitions. The Car, Truck, and Bike Show is typically held at the Myrtle Beach Speedway, but since the venue is closing, Myrtle Beach Nationals is expected to announce a new location soon.

Monster Truck Beach Devastation

Held in mid-to-late June each year, Monster Truck Beach Devastation is a thrilling event that promises an evening of fun. Your kids are sure to love watching the giant 10,000-pound monster trucks race, compete in a wheelie contest, or simply freestyle around the arena. You can even head down to the pit party after the main event to get pictures taken with these incredible trucks!

Fireworks on the Beach
