"The place was very clean very well maintained. Ocean breeze vacations was very helpful & answered any questions & concerns we had before our stay. Only drawback. No elevator & we were on the 3rd floor. It was 3 flights of stairs we had to walk down & up each time we left to go anywhere.That was exhausting.I would also recommend they make the pathway out to the beach was narrow. I would recommend making like a wooden walkway out to the beach to make it easier on the guests. Overall it was Beautiful! We had a Great time!

"Very nice stay. Updated, clean unit. 2BR. Master with queen bed, other with 2 twin. Would recommend for a couple or a couple with small children. Good location, easy to get to the beach. We would return to this place again if the elevator was working. It was not when we were there but they were trying. Could not get repair people out.

"We certainly enjoyed our stay at CBSH3! The description was accurate regarding no elevator, but it really wasn't an issue for us. The only suggestion we have is to replace the microwave & maybe adjust the balcony door so it slides a little easier. Other than that, it gave us exactly what we needed & we will definitely return! We even made connections with some of the residents, which was an added bonus!

"We've stayed in this rental for several years now, and will be back. Only real down-side is that it's up (and down) three flights of steps, which is mostly important when unloading and reloading.4 trips up and down will take some energy. Otherwise, location is great, and price is reasonable. Nice ocean view, and attractive space. Rental managers are pleasant to deal with, and location is convenient to everything you need for a great vacation.

"My family and I had a great time at this condo. It was the perfect location, just minutes away from everything and the view was amazing. I liked how all the linens were left shrink wrapped so we knew that everything was nice and clean. The only thing that I could recommend is that toilet paper and paper towels be provided, oh and a pizza cutter. The rooms were both spacious and plenty of closet space. I do think the condo could use a good deep cleaning, it was not filthy, just needs a little more TLC. We would stay again.

"The place was nice my family loved it and it was the perfect location. The only downside is the steps. The refrigerator and air seemed like they didn't want to work. The refrigerator got cooler the next day and the air couldn't be turned down below 70 because it may have frozen up. Other than those things the stay was great. It's the perfect location for a great getaway.

Great location and view

"The building is older. There is no elevator so you will have to travel 3 flights of stairs. But you cant beat the location and the view for this price point. The condo was clean, it could use some new living room furniture, but we weren't at the beach to hangout in the living room. The kids enjoyed having the pool and the beach to chose from every day.

" IT WAS CLEAN AND A NICE UNIT . I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE THAT DIDN"T HAVE A PROBLEM CLIMBING STAIRS.

"This was a perfect place to stay for our family vacation. We couldn’t have asked for a better view. I loved being away from the busy areas but being able to drive there within ten minutes. "Great location, good condition, but had to walk up 3 flights of stairs (53 steps in all) with luggage was a bit much for a 69-year-old.
I would think twice for that reason, but otherwise it was a great place.

"It was perfect place except for climbing 3 flights of stairs with a 50lb suitcase. When we arrived our room was ready and pretty clean had to wipe down the kitchen counters. There was also a dead palmetto bug but since that is the state bug it didn’t bother us too much. The only problem we had was when micheal the storm came through rain was coming through the sliding glass doors and the wind gave us a pretty good draft through the bedroom door. I would recommend this place again but maybe get a room on the second floor

"Great location . House seem outdated not much lighting in the condo nor ceiling fans. The property management group was very helpful. The place was not cleaned well before our stay. Manager needs customer service training

"Upon arrival to condo, air conditioning not working, called office, maintenance man came and was unable to fix air conditioning. Called on call manager and she continued to ask if we checked the breaker box, which is not a renter's responsibility, after asking her how she was going to resolve this ASAP, she then contacted air conditioning company, while waiting, I plugged my cell phone into living room and found there was no power in the livingroom. Contacted manager and she again asked about breaker box!!Had to sit on balcony due to no ceiling fans or screens in windows so no air circulation. Air conditioning was fixed and the power in livingroom restored the next day. Not one time did the manager apologize for these issues. I would not recommend staying here. We also did not receive the starter soap, roll of paper towels or roll of toilet paper as stated. The condo also needs ceiling fans in the event of air conditioning breaking again.

"We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was pleasantly decorated and had lots of space. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The condo did smell pretty musty, which they tried to fix with odor absorbers. I sprayed Lysol, but it didn't really help. I'm guessing this is a normal problem so close to the beach. We also had alot of trouble with the door lock.Still haven't figured out if it was defective or it was human error. We would definitely stay here again.

"I loved my stay here and was very pleased with the property overall. We had my daughter who is 1 1/2 years old. The condo was kid friendly, which made our stay so much more enjoyable.

The only thing I would have liked was a washable rug under the table to catch small drops and spills. But that is only because my daughter is learning how to eat without messes. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay.

Condo at Myrtle Beach

"The condo was great. We would stay in it again if it wasn't 3 grueling flight of stairs!!! The view was great, we listened to the ocean each morning. The beach was so close, not far to walk at all. The only thing is that your cleaning staff forgot was the balcony. There were giant toenail clippings in the carpet. I overall, I would ratethis as a10 but I have to rate it as 9 because of the stairs!..!! We were 71years old.

Cute affordable condo

"Although the building is not the most beautiful from the outside, the condo itself was adorable and the location and great for us. The view of the beach and ocean was fantastic since it was a bit too cold to hang out by the water and we could enjoy it from the balcony (which was much more private than expected). The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so be aware it’s like walking up 4 flights of stairs since the first floor is not ground level. Other reviews mentioned a broken toilet, but it must have been renovated as we had no issues. I only wish the second bedroom had 2 full beds (at least). Parking was not mentioned, but they provide one parking permit- we had two cars so I left a message on the managements vm. We didn’t have any issues with this, but it was off season also. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect time to visit North Myrtle Beach

"We picked the perfect time to visit. The weather was perfect for the most part and we had no issues with crowds. The condo we stayed in served it purpose well. It could use some updates, a new toilet in the master bathroom would be nice. It is functional, however it leans pretty bad to one side. It would be nice to have blinds in the master bedroom so that those that like to sleep in can. But we would definitely stay here again.

"My wife and I greatly enjoyed our vacation at Chateau By The Sea. Great oceanfront location with wonderful view off of the balcony. It is an older property, so there are signs of age, but it is generally well-maintained so that was not a negative for us. We went in September, and the rates were very nice. Location in North Myrtle is super-convenient to every restaurant we wanted to visit, even the one in Calabash, NC. Will intend to book for same time next year.

"This was a great little condo right on the beach. Be prepaired to climb 3 flights of stairs as there is no elevator. Also the renal company forgot to leave us parking passes and a tow truck showed up on out third day here. After calling the rental company they brought the parking passes within 10 minutes. Over all a nice trip.

"Wasn't able to get in the room the for hours on the first night stay. Someone had locked the door, maintenance had to come break the lock. Small roach in the room and I had to clean the entire condo. House keeping did a poor job of cleaning. There were no supplies had to buy my own toilet tissue, paper towel, etc. The location was nice since it was on the ocean but when your room is on the 2nd or 3rd level the steps is hard to handle. There arent any elevators so carrying luggage up and down the stairs was a nightmare.

"Very nice, clean rental. Everything that we could have needed was available in the kitchen. Close to everything and easy to find all of your needs. Great restaurant choices close by! I was accused of finding the rental due to the closeness of the Krispy Kreme! Great beach access. My only problem was the lack of an elevator, but I knew about this before I arrived, The beach wasn't overcrowded. It was a very nice week. I received a call from the rental company to check on my arrival time so that they could make sure everything was clean and ready to go. I thought that was great!
