FAQ

You must be at least 25 to rent one of our vacation properties.  Photo id must be presented at the time of booking.  If you book a reservation and are found to be under the age of 25, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be held to our cancellation policy rules.

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival, will be refunded 50% of the down payment.  Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within 30 days of arrival, forfeit all monies paid, unless the property can be rebooked at the same rental dates and rate.  If the property is rebooked for the reservation dates (partially or fully), a refund will be issued for the rental rate that we were able to rebook the property for at the last minute, minus $100 cancel fee. Early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.  In the event of a Hurricane, refunds will only be given if there is a “MANDATORY” evacuation order given for the area that the rental property is located in.  At that time, refunds will be given on any unused portion of rent from the date the evacuation order starts to the date the evacuation order is lifted.  No refunds will be given outside of the evacuation order dates. Travel insurance is offered by several online companies, if you think that you might have to cancel for various reasons. 

The reservation balance is due no later than thirty days prior to the first day of rental. If payment in full is not received on time, the reservation is subject to our cancellation policy. The reservation date is less than 30 days of arrival, payment in full is due at the time of booking.

Accepted forms of payment are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, E-checks.  If you would like to pay your balance by personal check, please mail to Ocean Breeze Beach Vacations, 119 Pinnacle Place, Suite A, Little River, SC 29566.  The check must be received no later than 30 days prior to arrival.  Please call our office and inform us if you plan on mailing a check, so that your credit card on file will not be charged for the balance. There will be a charge of $50 to your account for any returned/NSF checks.

Check in time is after 4pm. On your day of arrival, you will receive all of your check-in instructions via email, so please be sure that your email address is correct with our company. All efforts will be made to have your vacation rental cleaned and ready by your arrival time, but this is not guaranteed. While delayed check-ins are uncommon, occasionally extra time may be required due to any unforeseen circumstances and to ensure the property meets our housekeeping standards. Housekeeping and Maintenance personnel must provide services between occupancies for every property.  If your reservation requires picking up keys at our office, they will be available after 4pm. If you are unsure whether the property is ready to occupy or not, please contact our office. (If you are found to be in the unit early Housekeeping will NOT enter to clean the unit with your personal items in it, and you will be charged $100 per hour for an unapproved early check-in).

Check out time is prior to 10:00 a.m. Check-out time must be met in order for Housekeeping to be able to properly clean our properties before the next guest’s arrival.  If you depart the rental property significantly earlier than check-out time, please call or email our office.  Our housekeepers would greatly appreciate having a little more time to clean and sanitize the property for the next guest.   Guests occupying the property beyond the check-out time without approval from a Manager of Ocean Breeze Beach Vacations, will be charged $100 per hour for an unapproved check-out time.  (This provision shall not be construed to permit the Tenant to stay an additional night or stay beyond the check-out time.)

All of our check-in information will be emailed at 4pm on your day of arrival, to the email address that you have provided to us.  Please verify that the email address that we have for you is correct prior to your arrival day.  If you do not receive an email by 4, please check your spam folder, then call our office.

No, pets are NOT ALLOWED in any of our rental properties.  Most of our rentals are in large resorts that do have very strict “no pets allowed” policies.  If you are found to be in violation of this policy, you can be evicted with no refund.   If you need to travel with your pets, there are local places here at the beach, that they can stay while you are on vacation, such as Camp Bow Wow or Bark Pet Resort.

Smoking is NOT allowed inside any of our rental properties.  Each resort has different policies on, if and where you can smoke on the resort premises.  You can contact our office to find out if smoking is allowed anywhere at the resort or contact the resort, itself.  If it is found that you have smoked inside one of the rental properties, you will be subject to additional fees for deep cleaning and or damage, as per our rental agreement.

For your comfort and peace of mind, you are more than welcome to bring your own linens.  Or, you can let us take care of it for you and purchase one of our complete linen packages.   

Bedspreads, blankets, pillows and mattress protectors will be provided for every property

If you are staying in a condominium, resorts have minimal parking.  You will be allowed one parking space and parking pass if you have rented a studio or 1 bedroom condo, 2 parking spaces and parking passes for a 2 or 3 bedroom condo.  Parking is not assigned and is first come, first served.  If you have a large/tall vehicle, please contact our office to verify if there is parking outside of the parking garage for tall vehicles.

Each property/resort has different rules on motorcycles and trailers.  Please contact our office to verify if they are allowed.

Yes, all of the resorts have free wifi, most are open wifi.  If a passcode is needed, it will be provided in your check-in instructions.

Call our office immediately.  If it is after office hours, please call the emergency number provided in your check-in instructions email.  The number is also on our phone voice recording.  Please only use the emergency number for actual emergencies that cannot wait until the next day when the office reopens, ie power or ac outage, water leaks, fire etc.  And of course, if there is a fire, call 911 first.

Most of the smaller condos do not have washer/dryer inside the property.  Most of the larger condos, 2 or 3 bedroom, do have them.  Please contact our office if you are unsure.  Several of the resorts do have laundry facilities within the resort.

Several of the resorts do have amenities such as restaurants, lounges etc.   But we do recommend having a vehicle so that you can enjoy all of the fun things there are to do here at the beach.  Coast RTA Public Transit does have bus service in the area. The service offers eight bus routes covering the most popular parts of the Myrtle Beach area.  They also operate a FREE Entertainment Shuttle each summer through Labor Day. The Shuttle runs every 30-35 minutes from 11 AM until 11 PM daily.  There are also several taxi services in the area.

No, we do not provide paper products or toiletries.  All of our rentals are privately owned and some of the resorts are located 20-30 miles from our office, so it is not convenient to keep the rentals stocked with these items.  We do recommend bringing toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent etc.  There will be a list of recommended items within your rental agreement.

It is recommended that you open a temporary post office box and have your mail forward to it while you are here.
