CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations 30+ days before arrival: 50% of down payment refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival, forfeit all monies paid unless the condo is rebooked for the same rental dates & rate. If the property is rebooked for the rental dates (partially or fully) a refund will be issued for the rate that we were able to rebook the property for at the last minute, minus a $100 cancellation fee. Within 30 days: refund (partially or fully) only if condo is rebooked.

Hurricane refunds: applies during mandatory evacuation orders given for the area that the property is located in. Refunds will be given on any unused portion of rent from the date the evacuation order is lifted. No refunds will be given outside of the evacuation order dates.

Amazing vacation

"Positive:
The location was perfect. Very close to the beach with access to pools, gym,laundry etc. The condo was beautiful and clean.

Negative:
We would like to have a sofa bed to be conlmfortable (family of 4)
The kitchen is very very small
Water kept running over our balcony. We think it was the air-conditioning on the upper floors.

Beautiful Coastline View! Everything you need for a small family!

"It cannot be overstated just how much of the coastline you can see from this condo. It's not ocean front but is placed at a perfect angle to see an unobstructed view of the ocean. The room has a decent sized balcony, a stove, and a full sized fridge. The beds were comfortable and the amenities included at the resort were very nice.

Nice location

"The room was nice overall. The floors were dirty, we had dirt all over our feet from walking on them and the shower drain wouldn’t stay up on its own. The main complaint I have is the hassle of getting my payment to go through for the refundable deposit because the systems were down but they were friendly and ended up getting it fixed.

Great Stay

"From start to finish my children and I enjoyed our stay. My youngest was sad to leave because she was having such an awesome time at the resort. Everything was exactly as described. There was zero confusion upon check in or checkout. I LOVED that the linen was sanitized and wrapped for us to put on the bed and use. We are already looking at our next dates to return.

"Overall my experience was fantastic. There were a few small things that could have been better but I'm there to make memories with family, not be critical. Perhaps a new seal on the fridge would help it stay shut...but if that is all it takes to ruin a vacation I didn't deserve one yo begin with. Beautiful view. I would suggest a welcome package with maybe a coupon book from local diners or attractions so guests can see what's around. These are available at many places but to have it in the room would be fantastic. Thank you for for the great stay!

Another Great Stay

"This property was great. The only downfall was it was by the pool, which made the unit pretty noisy during pool hours. Another issue, which should NOT reflect on Ocean Breeze, was the constant smell of Marijuana in the building. I mean like, waking me up at 3AM, it was so strong. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. The location to the beach was great. Everything in the unit was clean and in working order.

"It's a great get away place for a small family. Very conveniently located, great restaurants nearby as well as mini golf places. The property was clean. Only you need to bring your own dish detergent, paper towel...etc.

First family vacation

"We had an incredible time with our in laws and our two small children. The kitchen was minimally stocked with utensils, but we were able to make due and cooked all of our meals in the room. We had the pack and play set up for our youngest, and still had plenty of room to get around without having to break it down every day. We had a wonderful stay, and made lots of memories.

Awesome & Relaxing September Vacay!

"Have been visiting Myrtle Beach on & off for the last 15 years and my last stays have ALL been at Caravelle Resort Unit#408. The unit is extremely comfortable & spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean and overlooking the swimming pool, lazy river & kiddie pool. It was clean, very nicely decorated & had all the amenities to stay in & cook should one choose to. The resort is super well located, offering serenity & security & within walking distance of restaurants. It was low season so parking in the main building was not a problem although there is an overflow parking across the street. I definitely give the room a 5/5 rating. The hotel/resort itself could however use a little upkeep/facelift especially in the following areas: entrance & corridors. Hopefully these have been already noted by management and planned. I will definitely stay in this unit again. Thank You!

"Nice room but the cleaning crew needs a lesson in how to wash floors & we had a ton of flies in our room (i70-80) Had issues with elevators going out & they need more parking BUT beach & staff was great The rooms are newly refurbished. They have life guards & also beach chairs & umbrellas to rent

Caravelle Condo Rental 408

"The rental was clean, but smaller than expected. Maybe my expectations figured it would be bigger. Anyway, the room was nice, views of the ocean and overlooking the pool, the noise died down once the pool closed at 10 pm which was not a problem. Overall a nice stay in the room.

I was not happy with the Caravelle Resort laundry room as it only took dollar bills in the change machine with no place to get change for larger bills.

The Caravelle Resort snack shop was a ripoff... do not get soft serve ice cream in a bowl... $1/ounce... really? Very expensive!

If you are looking for a family oriented vacation with plenty of pools and fun for the kids, this is the place to go.

Excellent Vacation

"Upon arriving at the resort, I opened the door to a wonderful view and an immaculate room. The lock for the sliding door was not functioning but was soon corrected once I notified the rental management. Pools were clean and area around them was well kept. My only disappointment was the parking ramp attached to the building was closed which meant that you had to park in a ramp across the street. As a result, loading and unloading was a problem as the entry was frequently blocked/unaccessible due to the limited number of cars that can access the entry at any given time.

"Great studio condo. Everything as expected. Parking was extremely convenient if you have bags. Unit was clean and modern. View of ocean off balcony was very relaxing. What we liked most was santa maria. Perfect restaurant and bar by the resort. They also had great food and a breakfast buffet. Will definitely be back.

Nice room, nice view, but hotel needs updating and a cleaning

"The room was A nice oasis in a hotel that could use a really good cleaning and standard maintenance. The room has a great view of the pool and the ocean and is great for a family of four. The only complaints we had is that there is literally one easy to access electrical outlet, and it’s in the dining room. We had to unplug lights that were in the room to charge phones and other devices. Also, we couldn’t figure out how to get cable in the room. I am not sure it has it. That wasn’t a problem for us as we brought a fire stick and the internet was very good. Our higher ratings associated with this review are for the room and not the actual property. The hotel has peeling paint, trash lying around, delapitated elevators and stairwells and is in dire need of an upgrade. While the kids liked the pool and we loved the close proximity to the ocean, we will likely never return to the Caravelle and will chose a more updated hotel for the future.

Summer Treat

"The unit was nicely decorated. Being able to park on the same floor level as the unit was also nice, even though parking for the unit was NOT a reserved space. This resulted in my having to park across the street. By the 3rd night I figured it out and we ate early enough to ensure we had a parking space on our level. I didn't like being right over the pool area. The music was loud, even with the sliding door closed. Nevertheless the ocean view was nice. The unit, though a bit on the dusty side, was as nice. The bedside lamp wouldn't stay on.
